Way to regain soul weapons after death?

So I was sitting in the lobby and somebody dropped a soul dragnov and soul keychain (not classified) so I picked them up, being a noob and having no guns, but then I died and the gun and keychain didn't drop but also didn't stay in my inventory is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug?

 

is there a way to get them back?

 

well i mean like you got them for free so i wouldnt be too mad about it

 

Maybe he got rid of it because if was a bugged gun and item

 

it could be, the server was lagging a lot

 

Perhaps the problem is that these soul weapons were not yours?

 

There isn't a soul keychain in the game, they cant exist, so you never had a soul keychain. For the dragnov, if you have any proof, screenshots, video's of you have it, or anything like that, it will grant you a much higher chance of getting it back. However, for now we can give it back to you as there is no proof. If you do have proof send it on discord to ronnie_st#6052

 

Yeah, that’s just how the game works. I’ve had the same thing happen when I picked up a Soul Dragnov and was feeling good, but then I died and it wasn’t in my inventory anymore. It’s not a bug, but it can definitely be frustrating if you're not expecting it. I’ve learned to hold onto items like that a bit longer before diving into the action, or at least make sure I have a backup weapon so it’s not a total loss if things go south.

 

Yeah, that's a known bug. Items sometimes vanish if you die right after picking them up. Sucks, I know.
