Reviving the server

I was mod and builder in 2015 and we were waiting for a big infected update after the realms full release back then too, funny to see how nothing has changed. I don't really know what the staff team is like now, but back then the seniors of the staff team were quite sexist and abusive with almost a god like complex. Anyway when I left I exposed all the buildings and custom textures that yom stole from builders and servers such as hypixel and Mining Dead, which probably had a small impact on the player numbers.

It is a shame to see this server die out though, because even though there were a lot of negatives I also have a lot of fun memories on this server.

 

Steph honestly you are one of the few people that was part of my past on the YomNetwork (and in a good way), despite the fact that the server isn't quite like it was back in the day, the cherished memories that i had with so many players had gotten me to come back just recently this year in January after a 3 year break from the game... Although i'm not 100% sure or can dictate the staff behaviour as of right now or even back then, but the staff team seems to be a-lot more subtle and less expressive in a sense (if that makes any sense at all).

I really do feel sorry for lack of credit that was given but your overall presence on the server, uplifted so many people in the community as you had a very enthusiastic aura that seemed naturally exposed from you. We enjoy the social aspect of the game just as much as the game content, if not more due to the community that we have here is so inviting and inclusive for people.

Ultimately though, i'm glad that we, the community, got to hear a response from one of the valued veterans of the YomNetwork community

Cheese, after not hearing from Steph for a long time, the last thing i would do is not welcome her. Shes a long time standing veteran and figure for the server

 

i wouldnt call her a figure for the server, but we had A LOT of damn good memories, and she was the first kind survivor i met

 

When i say figure, i mean she was someone lots of people grew to love as a player on the server. Not really a virtual representative, but a known character for veterans
